About
Darcey is a visual artist living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She attended Maryland Institute College of Art (BFA 2009) and Millersville University (BS biology 2017). She finds inspiration all around her but focuses her work on botany, animals, bones, emotions, and unusual objects. Her illustrations explore storytelling through contrast, conflict, and animal expression.
Currently she divides her time between the pursuit of science and art and hopes someday to bring the two together, functionally, in her artistic work.
